2017 Sports Council Award winners

KAMLOOPS — Achievement was recognized Saturday night at the Kamloops Sports Council Awards and Hall of Fame inductions.   Those recognized for achievement in 2017 are:    Sports Person Karl de Bruijin (Special Olympic B.C. Summer Games), Team of the Year TRU men’s Soccer (U Sports bronze mealists), Coach of the Year John Antulov (TRU men’s soccer), University Award of the Year Mitch Popadynetz (TRU men’s soccer), International Award of the Year Josie Spence (speed skating), Female Athlete Megan Dalke (swimming), Male Athlete Colin Gilbert (swimming)
