KAMLOOPS — It appears spring weather is finally on its way.

Over the next week Kamloops should see above average temperatures.

Environment Canada meteorologist Trevor Smith says a ridge of high pressure will bring the warmer temperatures starting Monday.

“Temperatures look like they’ll be kind of around 20 or the low twenties through about Wednesday, and then on Thursday we’re going to see a bit of a warm-up and temperatures will rise into the mid-twenties, and  it looks like this little warm stretch will peak on Friday when we hit 28 degrees.”
