KAMLOOPS — One of the players who died in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash last Friday night was a former all-star and MVP at the Kamloops International Bantam Hockey Tournament.

16-year old Adam Herold was the youngest player on the Humboldt team.

In 2016 Herold was named top defenceman and a first team all-star while playing with the Balgonie Prairie Storm at KIBIHT.

That same year Herold was drafted 35th overall by the Prince Albert Raiders in the Western Hockey League bantam draft.
