Threat closes business in 100 Mile House, suspect arrested

100 Mile House — A 100 Mile House man is behind bars after allegedly uttering threats Tuesday.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says police received a report that a man had allegedly made threats of physical harm to people known to him.

“The victims were reported to… be at a business in 100 Mile House,” she says. “Police immediately attended the business and located the individuals and ensured their safety. For the safety of all employees the business closed for the days and all employees are safe.”

She says Williams Lake RCMP were called in to assist with the investigation and says the suspect was arrested at approximatley 3:40 p.m. without incident.
