RCMP seek hit and run driver

KAMLOOPS — A truck driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries Thursday nght and police are looking for a driver who fled the scene.

Kamloops RCMP say that just before 10:00 PM Thursday night, a truck driver had parked his rig and was apparently walking across the frontage road in Valleyview when he was hit by a passing vehicle.

The suspect vehicle didn’t stop and took off.

Sergeant Brandon Buliziuk says the driver was in critical condition when he was taken to hospital. No word on his condition this morning.

Kamloops RCMP are hoping the public can help them find the suspect vehicle.
