Power restored to thousands of Kamloopsians

KAMLOOPS — Update: Power has been restored. No word given yet from BC Hydro on what caused the outage. The power was out for almost one hour.

Earlier: Thousands of BC Hydro customers in Kamloops have been hit by a power outage.

The power went out at approximately 2:20 p.m. and the outage has affected almost 3700 customers in large swaths of the Sahali and Aberdeen areas.

Crews have been dispatched to attend to the outage. No word yet on the cause.
