KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Jr. Blazers have opened the B.C. female midget hockey championship in Williams Lake with a 6-4 win over the North East.
At the pee wee tier one’s Kamloops and the Burnaby Winter Club played to a 2-2 tie.
Both teams are undefeated at 3-0-1.
Chase has finished second at the tier four midget’s losing 6-3 to Houston in the final.
The Thompson Blazers are 3-0-1 at the midget tier two championships and playing Port Moody tonight.
