South Kam wins semifinal at B.C. boys basketball

KAMLOOPS — The South Kam Titans are headed to the B.C. boys 3-A basketball final for the second year in a row.   South Kam defeated Pitt Meadows 65-59 in todays semifinal — but it wasn’t without some tense moments in the fourth quarter.

South Kam led by as much as 14 in the second quarter and ten at the half.

Pitt Meadows rallied in the second half and had a couple of fourth quarter leads before the Titans put it away in the final two minutes.

South Kam, which lost to Rick Hansen in last years final, will face North Delta or Byrne Creek in tomorrow’s championsip.
