Adams Lake Indian Band releases election results

CHASE — Cliff Arnouse has been acclaimed chief of the Adams Lake Indian Band.

Along with Arnouse, five councillors were elected on March 3. They are Steven Teed, Shelley Witzky, Elaine Jules, Brandy Jules and Gina S. Johnny.

Steven Teed topped the polls with 123 votes. 

A swearing-in ceremony will take place Friday night starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Adams Lake band gymnasium.
