Vehicle incident closes Coquihalla Highway southbound at junction with Logan Lake

KAMLOOPS —Update: Central Interior Traffic Services says there were no major injuries in this morning’s traffic incidents on the Coquihalla Highway near the Logan Lake turnoff. They expect the highway to fully reopen southound shortly.

Update: CFJC Today has learned today’s Coquihalla closure southbound near the Logan Lake turnoff was caused by a crash involving multi-commercial vehicles. That crash was apparently followed up by a secondary accident involving some passenger vehicles. No word yet if there were any injuries. Check Drive BC for updates.

Earlier: If you were planning on heading southbound on the Coquihalla this morning, think again.

Drive BC says a vehicle incident has closed the highway southbound four kilometres south of Exit 336, the junction with Highway 97D to Logan Lake.
