KAMLOOPS — The search for Ryan Shtuka has entered day six and as family and friends continue to search for the 20 year old at Sun Peaks they are seeking more volunteers to help.

Shtuka was last seen in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 17, after a house party on Burfield Drive.

It’s believed he left the party to walk home just a short distance away around 2:10 in the morning. Despite the ongoing search by RCMP, Kamloops Search and Rescue and community volunteers, there has been no sign of him.

RCMP are following up on tips and are asking residents to check their properties for any sign of Shtuka. The search has now expanded to include areas both inside and outside of Sun Peaks resort.

The family is asking anyone who can help to stop by the Sundance Conference Room located in the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel. As well residents and business owners are being asked to review security cam footage from the early morning hours and afternoon Saturday. And anyone with dash cam footage is also being asked to take a second look at video from the same time frame.

Shtuka is described as white, 6 feet tall, 180 lbs, with blonde hair and brown eyes. He was wearing dark jeans, a grey/white shirt, a blue coat, and a burgundy ball cap when last seen.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at (250) 828-3000.
