KAMLOOPS — UPDATE — Fire officials and possibly the RCMP will be back at the scene of a house fire in Westsyde this morning.

A house at 2970 Bank Road caught fire during the supper hour.

The home was fully involved when fire crews arrived, and crews had to fight a mainly defensive fire as it was too hot to be inside fighting the blaze.

The home apparently was badly damaged. Officials aren’t saying much about the blaze or its cause, but the blaze was so hot that officials haven’t been able to get near the home until it cools.
