Storm leads to TRU Williams Lake campus closure

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — The winter storm in the Cariboo has led to a disruption of the education system in Williams Lake.
Thompson Rivers University has announced a closure of its Williams Lake campus starting at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, continuing for all of Thursday.
School officials say the campus is expected to re-open on Friday.
In addition, bus service was suspended in Cariboo-Chilcotin School District 27 for Wednesday.
Schools remained open despite the loss of bus service.
