KAMLOOPS —    Today is the deadline for cattle farmers in B.C. to report their losses to their provincial representatives.

The B-C Cattlemen’s Association says the annual survey allows the group to determine the needs of farmers when it comes to highway fencing programs, livestock protection programs, wildfire recovery and other supports.

The association has said that as thousands of livestock were estimated to be lost as a result of the historic 2017 wildfire season.

Farmers can find the survey on the association’s website.
