Pedestrian struck by train in Chase

CHASE, B.C. — According to Canadian Pacific Railway a train struck a pedestrian in Chase Sunday afternoon. 

The CP train made contact with a person at Pine St. and 2nd Ave. around 1:45 p.m.

An eye witness told CFJC Today the pedestrian had been attempting to cross the tracks. 

There is no official  word on injuries, and CP is investigating the incident.
