New endorsements for Stone, De Jong as Liberal campaign enters final stretch

VANCOUVER —  A former finance minister has racked up another endorsement in the race to lead the B-C Liberals.

The party’s interim leader, Rich Coleman, has thrown his support behind Mike de Jong.

Coleman says de Jong is ready to renew the Liberal party and make sure the ruling New Democrats answer to the people of B-C.

The leadership race is set to be decided on February 3rd.

Meanwhile, Kamloops MLA Todd Stone has added former B.C. Liberal Leader Gordon Wilson to his stable of supporters.

Wilson announced his support for Stone over the weekend. Stone published a statement from Wilson on his Facebook page.
