KAMLOOPS —Update: Highway 97 has reopened in both directions following this morning's crash.

Earlier: A two-vehicle crash has closed Highway 97 in both directions about seven kilometres north of 100 Mile House.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says it happened at around 9:45 a.m. this morning and involved a large transport truck.

"It was hauling dry cement bags which spilled on the road, partially blocking the highway," she tells CFJC Today. "It does not appear anyone was hurt."

No word yet on when the highway will reopen. Check Drive BC for updates.
