Decision on bail for Jamie Bacon due today

VANCOUVER —  A bail decision is expected later today in Vancouver in the case of Jamie Bacon.

    Bacon is scheduled to face trial in April on one count of counselling the murder of an individual.

    Last month, a judge stayed a first-degree murder charge against Bacon linked to a separate incident involving the killing of six people in a Surrey apartment in 2007.

    The Crown wants the B-C Court of Appeal to order a new trial in that case.
