Two Kamloops rinks in page playoffs at B.C. Scotties

KAMLOOPS — Two rinks from Kamloops have made the four team page playoffs at the B.C. Scotties. 

Karla Thompson, the 2016 provincial champion, won a tense battle for first place in the round robin against Diane Gushulak.

The Kamloops skip scored a steal in the 10th end to win 7-6 and finish at. 6-and-1.

Three teams tied at 5-and-2.  On a best last-stone-draw record tie breaker Kesa Van Osch took second seed and will face Thompson in the one-two game.
