First baby of 2018 at Royal Inland Hospital is a boy

KAMLOOPS – The first baby of 2018 at Royal Inland Hospital, but he’s a healthy boy born just after 6:00 AM yesterday morning.

The baby was just under 7 lbs.

He hasn’t been named yet, nor have the parents been identified.

The first baby in the Interior Health Health Unit was born at 2:07 AM, at Penticton Regional Hospital.
