KAMLOOPS — Kamloopsians can expect a bit of a break from the freezing temperatures they’ve been experiencing this week but it will come with a catch: snow.

That from Environment Canada meteorologist Cindy Yu.

“Yes, there’s moisture moving across southern British Columbia today and tomorrow and heading into the new year as well. For the next 48 hours we are expecting a couple of flurries through the day today and the weather system tonight will probably bring more moisture into the Kamloops region.”

For the city itself, Yu says we can expect upwards of two centimetres tonight and maybe another two for tomorrow.
