Winter storm warning issued for Lower Mainland

VANCOUVER – Aside from more winter weather forecast for the Coquihalla, Mother Nature has some wicked weather planned for the Lower Mainland. 

 
Due to the risk of freezing rain into Thursday, a winter storm warning has been issued for the Tri-Cities, Surrey, Langley, and the Fraser Valley including Maple Ridge and Abbotsford. A snowfall warning has been issued for Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and the North Shore. As much as 20 centimetres of snow could fall through midday tomorrow.
