KAMLOOPS — The search is over for a new executive director of the North Shore Business Improvement Association.

In a Facebook post today, Jeremy Heighton said he’s landed the role and will start work Jan. 8, 2018.

Heighton is currently the member relations coordinator at the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce. He’s also been involved with the Adams River Salmon Society.

“I have been so blessed to be a part of the Kamloops business community over the last 15 years, and this move feels so right,” he said. “The ability to assist developing the North Shore Business Association and its members, our amazing North Shore communities and Kamloops as a positive business destination for new and developing businesses, as well as building momentum which yields positive and powerful outcomes for all.”
