Kamloops rinks begins B.C. Jr. curling playdowns with a win

KAMLOOPS — A rink skipped by Cierra Fisher of Kamloops has won its first game at the B.C. Junior women’s curling playdowns.

Fisher defeated Taylor Reese-Hansen of Victoria 5-4 on the first day of the eight team provincials.

The Fisher rink took control with consecutive steals in the 5th and 6th ends, scored two more in the 9th and then held the Victoria rink to one in the 10th end.
