KELOWNA — RCMP are making an effort to track down the rightful owner of nearly a dozen collectable hockey cards seized by police as suspected stolen property.

The items were seized sometime ago from an alleged shoplifter, with that case now concluded in the courts.

“Amongst those items were nearly a dozen collector type hockey cards in hard plastic sleeves, many of which were labelled as “Rookie” cards,” says RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.

If you can prove that you are the rightful owner of the property you are asked to contact Cst. Katherine Bizier of the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
