KAMLOOPS — In 1999, 10-year old Brennan Comazzetto was out riding his bike, and was tragically struck and killed in a hit and run crash. His sister Payton, who witnessed the incident, organized a special event in Westsyde on Sunday in her brother’s memory.

The first-ever Ugly Sweater Run for Brennan took place at the Rainbow’s Roost, on the banks of the North Thompson River; a festive run for a good cause.

There were 125 participants who took part in the Ugly Sweater Run for Brennan on Sunday, which raised over $3000 for the Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops Power Start Breakfast program.
