City offers free downtown parking every Saturday in December

KAMLOOOPS — ‘Tis the season.
The City of Kamloops is offering free on-street parking in downtown Kamloops every Saturday for the month of December.
This is the second year the city has waived fees to encourage more shopping downtown.
The move could cost as much as $10-thousand in lost parking revenue.
The announcement was made on Twitter this morning.
