KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are trying to track down suspects involved in firing a gun around Carson Crescent on the North Shore last night.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says police received numerous reports of shots fired around 7:50 p.m.

"Police officers attended the area and located two spent shotgun casings in the alley between Carson Crescent and Marcel Street," Shelkie said. "No one was injured and no suspects were located or identified."

Shelkie says witnesses saw a man on a bike at the time of the shooting. A dark-coloured pick-up truck was also seen in the area.

Shelkie adds there didn't seem to be anyone else in the area at the time the shots were fired.

As RCMP conduct their investigation they are asking anyone with information to contact them at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
