KAMLOOPS — An adult female suffered life-threatening injuries in a single vehicle crash in the South Cariboo Monday.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says it happened just before 11 a.m. on Canim Hendrix Lake Road near Buffalo Creek Road.

“Initial investigation suggests the SUV lost control, left the roadway, rolled and landed in a field,” she says. “A collision reconstructionist and members of the Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Traffic Services were called to assist with the investigation.”

Saunderson says the driver had to be extracted from the vehicle before being taken to hospital. Her passenger was also taken to hospital but her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
