KAMLOOPS — The NHL Vegas Golden Knights have called up Blazers goaltender Dylan Ferguson.

Because of injuries to the Knights goaltenders Ferguson will fly out tonight and join the team in New York.

The Blazers have called up 15-year old Dylan Garand.

Garand was their 3rd round pick in the 2017 bantam draft, and is 7-and-0 with the Delta Hockey Academy this season.

Maxime Legace was the fourth goaltender to suit up for Vegas in Monday nights 6-3 loss to the New York Islanders.

Ferguson will join the Knights in time for Tuesday’s game against the New York Rangers.

Drafted by Dallas Ferguson was traded to Vegas shortly after the 2017 draft.

He signed just before the start of the NHL season.

Ferguson struggled with the Blazers in the early part of the season, but since then appears to have found his way.

In 13 games has a 4-and-9 record, 4.05 goals against average and .878 saves percentage.

If he is not back before the weekend Max Palaga is expected to get the start for the Blazers in Friday’s game in Vancouver, with Garand as his backup.
