City of Kamloops to hike on-street parking rates

KAMLOOPS — On-street parking rates in downtown Kamloops will be going up soon.

The City of Kamloops has announced, effective Jan. 1, 2018, on-street parking rates will rise in accordance with the 2013 amendement of the City’s Traffic Bylaw No. 23-30.

The increase only affects metered on-street parking. The rates are as follows:

• $1.50 per hour for the first two hours
• $3 for the third hour
