Slide closes Trans Canada near Revelstoke

REVELSTOKE — Highway 1 in southeastern B-C between Revelstoke and Golden has been closed by a rock slide.

The muck and debris came down overnight and Drive B-C says engineers will assess the situation this morning.

In the meantime, there’s no detour available.

Officials can’t yet estimate how long the shutdown may continue.
