Coquihalla Highway reopens after serious accident

UPDATE: The Coquihalla Highway has fully reopened as of 2 p.m.

MERRITT, B.C. — The Coquihalla Highway is closed in both directions between Merritt and Hope due to a serious crash. 

According to Drive BC there’s been an accident near the Comstock Road exit south of Merritt.

North and southbound drivers should expect lengthy delays near the area as emergency crews tend to the crash.
