KAMLOOPS — More than a month after acquiring Kyle Dumba in a trade from Calgary, the 19-year-old netminder is on the lookout for another home.

The Kamloops Blazers released Dumba from their roster on Wednesday, bringing the totals to 25 players.

Dumba was acquired in August from the Hitmen for a 2018 conditional seventh-round pick. He played in part of the season-opening game in Kelowna on Friday, stopping all 10 shots in the third period of a 6-2 loss to the Rockets.

Dumba will either be picked up by another WHL team or will play for the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the AJHL.
