Casting call for independent film in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Extras are needed for an independent film shoot in the Kamloops area.

Director Sina Sultani is seeking Indo-Canadian, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, North African and people of Persian descent for his film “Refuge” which will shoot in an area west of Kamloops around Cherry Creek Oct. 19-21.

Refuge has been billed as “a story about a devastating alien invasion that sends a young husband and his pregnant wife on a dark harrowing flight to freedom.”

Some roles may be needed for all three days and others may not. Days will be eight hours long and those chosen will be paid a flat fee of $90 per day and will be fed on set and credited on screen.
