WolfPack Split Doubleheader Against Okanagan A’s
Kamloops, BC – After a come-from-behind victory against the Universidad Technologica de Santiago on Friday night, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Baseball team was back on the field Saturday (16th) for two exhibition games against the Okanagan A’s (Premier Baseball League). The ‘Pack came from behind again in the first game, winning 6-5 off a game-winning hit by Robert Scarr but fell 9-5 in game two.
The ‘Pack started a high-schooler in game one. Jordan Calibara (Kamloops, BC) started and threw 3.2 innings, allowing one run on one hit and four walks. He struck out one batter. Aaron Lemione (Winnipeg, MB) came into the game and threw 1.1 innings. Coach Ray Chadwick’s son Ty Chadwick (Kamloops, BC) came into the game to pitch in sixth inning. He allowed four runs on two hits and two walks. Cole Paquin (Regina, SK) threw 2.2 innings and ended up getting the win as the ‘Pack came back to force extra innings and won it in the 8th.
