REVELSTOKE —    Three dogs seized by animal control in Revelstoke last spring have been stolen from an animal shelter.

Revelstoke R-C-M-P say someone cut a chain link fence at the shelter on Monday and took a male pitbull terrier.

Two days later, someone broke into the shelter, pried open two kennels and left with two female pitbulls.

Corporal Thomas Blakney says the dogs were deemed dangerous and a risk to the public after they were involved in a vicious attack on a Revelstoke resident in April.
