Crime Stoppers seeks Aberdeen Mall laptop thief

KAMLOOPS — Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who stole a laptop from the Aberdeen Mall.

The laptop was snatched from a kiosk in the middle of the mall on Aug. 24. Even though the laptop was chained to the kiosk, the suspect severed it with some cutters and managed to escape.

The business owner and security staff report seeing the man around the kiosk earlier in the day.

The suspect is described as:

  • White
  • Early 30s
  • Muscular build with short hair
  • With a large tattoo on the right side of his chest going down his shoulder
