Back to school today, as 14,000 students return in School District 73

KAMLOOPS — Over 14,000 students in School District 73 head back to school today.

Police will be out in the school zones in full force, and will be handing out tickets to offenders that range from $196 to $250 dollars depending on the offence. 

All elementary and secondary classes begin at 10:30 this morning with the exception of kindergarten students. Kindergarten times vary according to the school.  All elementary schools dismiss at noon, secondary in-town schools get out at 3:00 PM. Rural secondary schools get out at 12:30 PM. 

The only exceptions are Brock Middle School, where the Grade 7 and Leadership students only will report today, while all other students at Brock don’t go in until tomorrow morning.
