KAMLOOPS — The Western Canada Baseball Championships wrapped up at McArthur Island with a no-hitter.

Raine Padgham pitched the B.C. Selects to an 11-0 win over Alberta to win the girls pee wee division.

B.C. coach Stacey Fournier says it’s the kind of game they’ve come to expect from the 12-year old pitcher, adding “she throws hard, she’s hitting her spots all day long….she’s a great player.”

In the other divisions Campbell River won the pee wee boys, the Saskatoon Blue Jays took triple “AAA” bantam boys, Manitoba won the double “AA” bantams, and Saskatchewan toook the midget division.
