LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — Voting on the tentative agreement between the United Steelworkers and Teck Resources is set to take place this week.

After almost a year of discussion, the union and mine recently agreed on a new five year agreement for Highland Valley Copper Mine employees.

Kyle Wolf, President of USW Local 7619, says no concessions were made and copper bonuses will stay in place with no cap as part of the new deal.

Health and safety language has also been improved for workers.
