KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops and B.C. Lions have reached agreement on a new three year contract that will see the Lions continue to hold their training camp at Hillside Stadium through 2020.

Just ahead of the 2017 camp here in June, Lions VP of Business George Chayka said Kamloops is a good fit for the Lions.

“The combination of outstanding facilities and community support makes our decision to remain in Kamloops a very easy one,” said Lions’ VP, Business George Chayka. “The relationships we have built in Kamloops over the past eight years with fans and local businesses have created a model for other CFL teams looking to partner with a community for training camp and we’re thrilled to be back for three more years.”
