Junior lacrosse series goes to 5th and final game

VERNON — The Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse final will go to a 5th and deciding game.

Last night in Vernon, the Tigers edged the Kamloops Venom 7-6 in a low-scoring affair to force the fifth and deciding game in the series.

Kamloops had leads of 2-1 and 3-2 before allowing Vernon to take the lead.

Riley Peterson had two goals for Kamloops in a losing cause.

The fifth game in the series is slated for Tuesday night at Memorial Arena, starting at 7:30 PM
