KAMLOOPS — The man charged in the hit-and-run death of a Kamloops teenager has received bail for a second time.

Jason Gourlay is facing several charges, including failing to stop at an accident causing bodily harm, in the November 2016 crash in Aberdeen that killed 16 year old Jennifer Gatey.

Gourlay was granted bail in BC provincial court yesterday, and released into the custody of his mother, who promised to get him into a substance treatment centre.

His bail conditions include residing at the treatment centre, and not operating a motor vehicle.
