KAMLOOPS — The forecast from Environment Canada doesn’t provide much relief for the fire situation by way of rainfall.

Forecaster Alyssa Charbonneau says the day to watch appears to be Saturday.

“We are going to have a cold front sweeping across the B.C. Interior, and it is going to generate some stronger wings. Right now, it looks like potentially 20-30km/h winds, with gusts up to 50km/h, and that would be in the afternoon of Saturday into the evening, easing off as we go into Sunday,” said Charbonneau.
