Kamloops real estate market heats up

KAMLOOPS — June was another hot month for the local real estate market.

According to the Kamloops and District Real Estate Association, residential sales were up seven per cent last month compared to June of 2016.

Aberdeen was the busiest neighbourhood in the city for home sales.

Sale prices continue to rise, with those June sales totalling more than $139 million dollars, a 17 per cent increase over the same month last year.
