PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Prince George Search and Rescue have concluded an approximate 3 hour search of two people who were hiking in Evanoff Provincial Park.

PGSAR say the two hikers didn’t know that they were missing.

Ground and air crews helped with the search.

It’s a reminder though that when you head to the back country, you leave behind a detailed plan.

PGSAR says you should leave a list of:

  • Where you are going
  • Names of everyone going
  • How you are getting there
  • Clear dates and times of when you are going and returning
