Wolfram heading to Czech Republic to continue pro basketball career

KAMLOOPS — After playing one professional basketball season in Sweden, former South Kamloops and TRU Wolfpack standout Josh Wolfram is heading to the Czech Republic.

Wolfram has signed with with Sluneta Usti Nad Labem in the Czech Republic National Basketball League. The 6’10” power forward comes to the Czech league after averaging 9.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game with Umea Basket in the Swedish league. 

Wolfram hopes to build on his rookie season and take his game to a new level in the Czech Republic.

“I am extremely excited to be able to sign my second professional contract with Usti nad labem,” said Wolfram in a release. “I cannot wait to get to the Czech Republic in September and do everything I can to help the club be successful.”
