Thousands expected to attend Canada Day festivities in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Thousands are expected to be at Riverside Park for a full day of activity during the Canada 150 Canada Day celebrations.

Events kick off with the Pancake Breakfast at 7:00. Art in the Park has a full complement of vendors. It starts at 9:00 AM.

Folkfest Performances start at 9 at the bandshell, with the official opening ceremonies at 10:30 AM.

Live bands play through the late afternoon and evening, and the fireworks cap the day at approximately 10:30 PM.

Transit will be free all day. Busses will run on a Saturday schedule, with extended hours for the fireworks.
