KAMLOOPS — Eight blazers are scheduled to go to NHL development camps later this week or in early July.

Deven Sideroff to Anaheim, Connor Ingram Tampa Bay, Garret Pilon Washington and Ondrej Vala to Dallas are signed players.

Nick Chyzowski to Dallas Luc Smith to the Rangers and Nolan Kneen to Florida are going as free agents.

Ryan Gropp will also be attending the Rangers camp.

Dylan  Ferguson had intended to go to the Dallas Camp after being drafted by the Stars on the weekend — but that all changed late today.

Less than 72 hours after being drafted Ferguson has been traded by Dallas along with a second round draft pick to the Las Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for defenceman Marc Methot.

In his second season with the Blazers Ferguson held the fort in the absence of Connor Ingram with the world junior team.

The 18-year old from Lantzville, B.C. appeared in 31 games last season, posting a 2.74 average and .922 saves percentage.
